Now a river guide in Cody Wyo!
Patrick spent the first 20 years of his life in Eastern Oregon before becoming a nomad and living for a time in Arizona, Alaska, and the Oregon coast. Being an educator for 18 years allowed Patrick to spend his summers exploring the outdoors, developing a love for the rivers of the West, and raising his two boys.
Besides guiding, he loves to kayak with his youngest son, golf with his oldest boy, ski, and hike in the backcountry on his days off. Patrick has always loved to share with people how grounding the river is and how it allows for a deeper connection to the natural environment. Now he does it weekly as a river guide in Cody in the summers and, during the off-season, he can be found on the ski hill in his skis, managing the North Absaroka Ski Patrol.
