Raft Cody Wyo with Rick! Rick has been working with WRT since 2021. Previously he worked on rivers in western Washington State and as a snowboard instructor at Mt. Baker, when not working his 9-5. After retiring in early 2021 and moving to Wyoming to be closer to family, he couldn’t stay away from rivers or snow.
Along with working as a snowboard instructor for Red Lodge Mountain in Red Lodge, Montana and guiding for Wyoming River Trips in the summer season, Rick also enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, skateboarding, camping and Harleys. His favorite food is the kind cooked over an open fire. According to Rick, floating down a river is a great way to take a break from the stresses of life, be a little quieter and take in some great scenery.
Rick’s recommended trip: 1/2 day on the shoshone river (includes the Red Rock upper canyon and lower canyons of the Shoshone river)
